Choosing a Script

Visit our "Shop Scripts" tab to read through script synopses and sample scenes. Once you've found a script (or a few!) you'd like to read in its entirety, you can order an electronic Preview Script. Add the "Preview Script" of your selected show to your shopping cart and finish checkout. Within one business day we will e-mail you the Preview Script along with a link to a private youtube channel where you may preview the shows' music.

Previewing the Music

When we send you the Preview Script of your chosen play, we'll include a link to a private youtube channel for your selected play. Here you'll have 30 days of access to videos of all the songs in the play you are previewing.

Producing a Play

Once you've found a play you love that fits your production needs, the only thing left is to complete your order. Return to our online store under the "Shop Scripts" tab and follow these three steps to finalize your order:

Order "Cast and Crew Scripts" duplication rights - at least one for each member of your cast and crew.
Order enough of piano and vocal "Scores" for each musician and vocalist.
Secure your royalty rights by purchasing the same number of "Production Orders" as performances you intend to produce.

Receiving your Order

Once we've received your order, we will email you your scripts, scores, and confirmation of production rights within one business day.

Yes, we are an electronic-only company!

We are a family-run company that plans on expanding our services as we go. Without going into the nitty-gritty details of tax code, suffice it to say that selling in multiple states presents some serious tax barriers when products are sent in the mail. So, for the moment, Yellow House plays are only available in electronic formats that we'll send to you via email that you can then print anyway you choose. Don't worry though, this means when you choose us, you save on shipping and printing surcharges! If our electronic format is a barrier for you, let us know and we'll work with one of your local print shops to make sure you get the scripts and scores you need.
